So much is happening that my head is spinning. Graduations, plans for the summer, going and coming, and in addition this is a most exciting time in our local church. Looking ahead to try to discern what God’s will and timing is. Trying to listen and to hear God’s whisper or shout! Yes, sometimes it’s a two by four for me!!

Taking care of home, and being godly in all our ways, taking time to be aware of God’s presence and leading, is a full time job. How important it is to understand God’s love and call upon our lives to live enthusiastically in His presence and to trust Him is all our ways. Proverbs 3:5.

I pray that this summer will be a highlight in our lives as we allow our God through Jesus Christ to lead and guide us. Praying, studying, and helping us count for Him is so important for all of us in these summer days.

Take advantage of opportunities to grow in Christ in the days ahead. Study groups, summer worship, opportunities for fellowship, and of course worship attendance will help all of us be “Monday” Christians. The world “out there” is desperate for a word of faith, for truth, and for the love and forgiveness of Christ. Will you carry that message in your journey this summer.?

I’ll surely try.

In His Grace and Mercy,

Pastor Mel Leach
